This coming Friday and Saturday we’ve got the following specials available to order:

Starters

Bruschetta of cured meats, Parmesan shavings and soft poached quail eggs.

Deep fried Camembert wedges, cranberry sauce dip.

Tempura of tiger prawns, sweet chilli sauce .


Mains

Slow cooked belly of pork, black pudding mash, buttered cabbage and red wine sauce.

Seafood linguine in a garlic and herb cream sauce.

Pan fried bubble and squeak cake with a fried duck egg, mustard sauce.

Roasted duck breast, lyonnaise potato, carrots and blackberry sauce.

Candidate #3 has surfaced!

Lee Weavers is up for the challenge on
Saturday 12th November offering a Greek menu - Selected, prepared and cooked by Lee & assisted by Colin.
Following the same format as previous, on offer will be a choice of two starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts.

3 Course Greek meal £25.00 per head.

Please note that due to a private function at the pub there won’t be any Sunday lunches this coming Sunday 2nd October.
Normal Sunday roast will resume the next weekend.

Food Specials this coming weekend

We will be serving fresh Moules and Frites Friday and Saturday evening (12/13th Aug) so come along and enjoy some lovely Suffolk seafood.

Please note that we will not be serving food on Sunday 14th August.

After MikeT’s well digested French offering next up to the hob is Lucia L with an Italian themed menu.

Our first Guest Chef night went down a treat with all as MikeT cooked Classic French and Breton dishes. Traditional french pate, Cassoulet and Far Breton to mention a few were consumed with gusto.

Please note that we will not be serving food on Friday 6th May nor Saturday 7th of May as our chef is away.

We will be serving food as normal for Sunday lunch onwards on 8th May with lamb being this weeks roast and the usual fish, steaks etc also available.

Chef on Holiday!

Our Chef is going on holiday for a well earned break so we won’t be serving food Friday 15th April through to Sunday 17th April.
Everything back to normal from the 18th though!
